We are very pleased to announce the arrival of an exciting new and inspirational cookery school called White Pepper opening very soon in the courtyard!

The Purbeck Larder is a Butchery, Farm Shop and Tea Room that truley celebrates all that Dorset has to offer. We source as much of our produce from Dorset and the Purbecks and concentrate strongly on the seasons. Our aim is to showcase the finest local producers whilst imforming others of the importance of sourceing both seasonally and ethically. The Larder is also the home of The Dorset Charcuterie Company. Producers of Fantastic Dorset Cured, Smoked and Air Dried meats you will find a huge range of additive free ready to eat meats including Dorset Air Dried Ham, Dorset Air Dried Beef, Corned Beef and pates all made on site from Dorset Produce. We are also pleased to share our beautiful court yard with a new and inspiring cookery school named White Pepper. Together we are planning a range of exciting new courses from Bere Farm combining butchery, cookery/fine dining and forgaing and are looking for any ideas you may have...so swing by soon or drop us a line at info@thepurbecklarder.co.uk ....

Charcuterie

The Purbeck Larder is also the home of The Dorset Charcuterie Company. Producers of Fantastic Dorset cured smoked and air dried meats. You can find a large range of ready to eat meats on offer in our butchery and tearoom. Why not try our Dorset Plank, a selection of our Charcuterie, served in the Tea room on a local Dorset oak plank....

To complement our local teas and coffees we serve cakes and pastries from The Winterbourne Bakery. We provide a range of our own Dorset ploughmans with a choice of either Cheese, Cold Meats and Pate and you can enjoy a local beer or cider with a range of fresh home-made seasonal specials including quiches, pizzas, pies and real 'nasty' free orgainc hotdogs and longhorn burgers.

The Farmshop

The Farmshop is a true celebration of all things local with a focus on products made in and around Dorset and the Purbecks. Our produce is seasonal and if it’s out of season and not from Dorset, we won’t stock it! Look out for seasonal specials like locally foraged wild mushrooms, locally dived scallops and seasonal game.
